Supporting: Pittsburgh Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh
Campaign has ended.
Most of you know our Mason story, so I won’t get into all of that here. In the past, we participated in the annual Buddy Walk. These last few years however, we have had scheduling conflicts and couldn’t walk. This year with the Covid-19, they are hosting a virtual walk! The Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh is run solely on donations and this is their biggest fundraiser of the year! I’ve said many times, that I am beyond thankful for all the doctors at the DS center have done for Mason. In a way, they very well
may have saved his life or at the very least have him a fighting chance when they refused to let me take him home on the off chance he “may” be having seizures as his pediatrician said. So for that reason and many more, I am asking for York help to give back to the center! I am planning a short walk at the Wind Ridge ball fields in the late morning of October 3rd! Please make a donation and come walk with us and we kick off DS awareness month!!
