Pittsburgh Buddy Walk
Saturday October 3, 2020

The 26th Annual Pittsburgh Buddy Walk will be held on Saturday October 3, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our greatest priority is to keep our community safe and healthy, and therefore the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh will be hosting a virtual walk! From a distance we can make a difference! You can walk, bike, run, swim, or roll your Buddy Walk. We are asking each team to follow the CDC and your local health department guidelines. With your support and involvement, the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh can fund the specialized medical care provided to all ages with Ds at the Down Syndrome Center of Western PA; provide meaningful resources, educational opportunities, and support to families/caregivers of individuals with Ds; as well as host programs and events for our Down syndrome community. With your paid registration, you will receive a free T-shirt (while supplies last)!
While we won't be physically together at Highmark Stadium on October 3, we welcome you to tune in to our virtual programming from 10:00-10:40 on our YouTube channel (link above)! Jump on to see an amazing special guest joining us from CA kicking off the walk! We will also be joined by the team from the Down Syndrome Center, top team captains, DSAP board members, and more! Also have the link to the playlist ready for your walk (link above)!
Invite your friends, family, and even pets to join us as we promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome! #2020PGHBW
Note: If you would like to have your own team, please create a fundraising page first before registering for the event.
